Please support the following initiative to protect gaelic culture's precious heritage:

In case you haven't heard, there has been a major discovery of a massive ceremonial henge or temple found in the pathway of the M3 motorway. TaraWatch brought this to the attention of the media on May 1 and on the same day, Minister Roche brought work on that site to a halt. He is currently deciding whether to re-route the motorway or allow the site to be demolished. See National Geographic: Ancient "Royal Temple" Discovered in Path of Ireland Highway' [link]

We won't bore you with a long detailed email, but rather ask you to visit our various web sites and ask you to help in various ways.

1. Sign the Tara Protection Pledge, that has just been set up at:

2. Attend the conference, 'The Hill of Tara; Historical and Cultural Importance' on Monday 21st May in Trinity College Dublin, Swift Theatre, 11.00 am to 2.00 pm. Hosted by the Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies. Speakers include Dr Sean Duffy, Dr Gerald Morgan and Vincent Salafia. [link]

7. Vote for Sinn Fein. Labour or the Greens in the upcoming irish General Election. These parties have all promised to re-route the M3 motorway.
