I think, touching the hearts is pretty good answer, which means bringing beauty to the world, and just as well presenting your vision or delivering a message.

j'aurais tendance à dire ça aussi pour les arts appliqués, je pense que pour les arts dits "plastiques" les travaux essaient souvent de s'adresser directement au coeur (ou à l'esprit quand il s'agit d'opinions plus ou moins politiques)

To me, it's the presentation of a message, your beliefs... something to reach others to feel something from what you have brought to the world.

As for myself, I aspire to be a legend; not just some famous deviant, or a well off digital media man... but someone who will be remembered for doing something that the world will NEVER forget!!!

That's a great ambition you have, you'll need to work hard for it and a little bit of luck, and a great will and faith in you and your skills. Is it important for you to be remembered in any way you'll be able to get fame for or do you wish to accomplish a certain work especially?
I have ambition as well though surely not as big as I just wish to get fame in the domain I'll work in and become a name like Hideo Kojima for exemple, but most of all I hope to be able to make humanity evolve even just a little through my works, to open minds and present alternatives. If I can succeed in this then I guess I'll have accomplished my mission down Earth, I think it's what for I came to this world.
